The shrapnel holes are actually caused by the Soviet/Russian bombing of Helsinki, the capital of Finland.

In the Blogger dashboard all is good, pictures visible. When I visit the blog, all of the photos are missing. I've tried changing template, but no effect. Let's attach one photo here to see whether it affects new posts also, or is it just something with the former image files.
